The beautifully detailed silver plated locket (measures 30mm x 22mm) is fully openable so you can store a picture of a loved one or a small item close to your heart.
The words "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" are in a delicate white font on a black background, the design has been encased in glass for a high quality, enduring finish.
Complimenting the locket are two lovely charms, a filigree vintage style heart (13 x 16 mm) and a bead capped faux pearl (6mm round). Pearl jewellery was very popular with Victorians, it was associated with pureness and innocence.
